Maya Champion is a multidisciplinary artist originally from New York -with an eight year stint in Los Angeles- now residing on the east coast. Six years ago she transitioned into full-time ceramics, though she also explores other artistic ventures when they resonate with her vision and values.

Her work has primarily centered around functional ceramics, but recently been shifting towards more sculptural forms. This evolution allows for exploring new dimensions of creativity, with shapes, textures, and concepts in a way that feels both freeing and inspiring.

In addition to her personal artistic practice, she does do collaborations with brands when they align. These partnerships allow her to merge her artistic vision with their values, creating unique works that connect with a broader community.

At the heart of her practice is a desire to create pieces that are not only visually engaging but also meaningful, whether through function, form, or artistic expression. Every project is an opportunity to connect with others and continue growing as an artist.

She has completed custom commissions for noteworthy clients such as The New Bar and Cowboy Colostrum. Maya’s commercial work is sold at Paisita in Venice CA.
